关于地图
Morteros Map Poster & Print
Morteros is a town in the San Justo department in north-eastern Córdoba province, Argentina, close to the border with Santa Fe. It lies in one of the country's most important dairy regions, and milk production and processing have long been central to its economy. Mar Chiquita, the largest salt lake in Argentina, lies a short distance to the west.
Like many towns founded during the agricultural colonisation of the pampas, Morteros follows a strict grid. On a map, square blocks run in neat rows around a central plaza, with a few wider avenues giving structure. At the edges, the grid meets the surrounding countryside abruptly, and rural roads continue the same rectilinear logic across the flat, open fields.
A Morteros map poster shows the calm order of a pampas town in its purest form: straight lines, even blocks and a clear boundary between town and field. It suits families descended from the Italian and other European settlers who farmed this region, and anyone who values a precise, understated image of home.

Pampas grid
Square blocks repeat in orderly rows across the town and extend into straight rural roads beyond, giving the map a rhythmic, almost geometric quality.
Toward Mar Chiquita
West of town, the plain extends toward the wetlands and shores of Mar Chiquita, a vast salt lake and an important habitat for flamingos.
