关于地图
Muara Bungo Map Poster & Print
Muara Bungo is the capital of Bungo Regency in Jambi province, Sumatra. In Indonesian, muara means a river mouth or confluence, and the town grew where rivers meet in the lowlands of central Sumatra. It is the administrative and commercial centre for an area of plantations and farmland, and main roads across the interior pass through it.
On a map, the rivers shape the town. Their curving channels run through the frame, and streets gather on the land beside them. The main roads form the other structure, extending the town in long lines. Away from the centre, the pattern breaks into scattered settlements and plantation land, drawn in finer, looser lines.
A Muara Bungo map poster suits people from the regency, families who have moved to Jambi city, Jakarta or elsewhere, and anyone who knows the Sumatran interior. It shows a town shaped by rivers and roads, with the confluence at the centre and its growth traced outward along those routes.
