The Ghataprabha river
The river curves across the plain near the town. It is the strongest natural feature on the poster, a flowing line that contrasts with the straighter roads and the grid of the newer districts.

关于地图
Mudhol Map Poster & Print
Mudhol is a town in Bagalkot district, northern Karnataka, on the Ghataprabha river. On a map, the river is the defining line: a long, meandering band crossing a wide plain of cultivated land. The town sits beside it, with an older, tighter centre of narrow lanes giving way to broader, more regular streets on its outer edges.
The name reaches well beyond the region for two reasons. Mudhol was once the seat of a princely state ruled by the Ghorpade family, and that past still shapes the old core of the town. It is also the home of the Mudhol Hound, a lean sighthound bred in the area for centuries and now recognised across India.
A Mudhol map poster sets out these layers in plain linework. You can follow the river's curves, the dense older quarter and the roads running out toward neighbouring towns and villages. In black and white, the flat surrounding land becomes a calm field of thin lines. That gives the town and its river room to stand out, without the clutter of a tourist map.

The old town core
The historic centre, once the seat of the princely state, shows as a close-knit tangle of lanes. Its density contrasts with the more open, regular blocks that grew up around it later.
Roads across the plain
Main roads run out from Mudhol across the flat farmland of Bagalkot district. On the map they read as long, clean strokes connecting the town to the wider region.

为什么选Mudhol
一张有意义的地图
The poster suits people with roots in Mudhol, those who have moved away from northern Karnataka, and anyone drawn to the town's princely history or its famous hounds. The river and the old quarter give the print real character, and it works well in a study, a hallway or a family home.
You can change the title and subtitle to a family name or a meaningful date, and adjust the coordinates line. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files are $9 in six print sizes, and framed or unframed prints ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
