关于地图
Myitkyina Map Poster & Print
Myitkyina, the capital of Kachin State, sits on the west bank of the Ayeyarwady in northern Myanmar. The broad river runs along the eastern side of the map and forms a strong natural edge. The town extends west from the water in a fairly regular grid of streets, with markets and administrative districts close to the river and residential areas spreading inland.
Not far upstream, the Mali and N'Mai rivers join to form the Ayeyarwady, so Myitkyina is one of the first major towns on the country's great river. It is also the northern terminus of the main railway from Mandalay. During the Second World War the town and its airfield were the site of a long siege in 1944.
A Myitkyina map poster shows a river city in the far north. The wide sweep of the Ayeyarwady, the orderly grid beside it and the rail line coming in from the south produce an image that is clear and calm, with the river filling a large part of the frame.

为什么选Myitkyina
一张有意义的地图
For people from Kachin State or anyone who has travelled in northern Myanmar, Myitkyina's riverside plan is instantly recognisable. The broad water beside the tight grid makes a strong composition at every size.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the river and grid well, while Sand gives the map a warmer, softer tone.
