Kabini riverbank
The Kabini curves past the town in a broad, soft line. Its bank forms a natural edge that separates the built-up streets from the open ground across the water.

关于地图
Nanjangūd Map Poster & Print
Nanjangūd lies on the right bank of the Kabini river, also called the Kapila, a short distance south of Mysuru in Karnataka. The river is the strongest line on the map. It curves along the edge of town while roads branch out into the farmland around it. The older core stays close to the water, and newer neighbourhoods spread over flatter ground further from the bank.
The town is best known for the Srikanteshwara temple, dedicated to Shiva, whose tall gopuram rises near the river. It is such an important pilgrimage centre that Nanjangūd is often called Dakshina Kashi, the Kashi of the south. The streets around the temple are narrower and more tightly packed than elsewhere, which shows how the town grew around a single sacred centre.
Beyond the centre, a railway line and a highway link Nanjangūd with Mysuru, and fields and irrigation channels fill the land between them. A Nanjangūd map poster lays this out simply: a winding river, a dense knot of streets at the temple and roads reaching across open country. It is a quiet, easy-to-read composition that suits a calm wall.

Temple quarter
The streets around the Srikanteshwara temple are the closest-knit part of the map. Lanes gather toward the shrine, and the pattern becomes finer and busier than in the outer districts.
Road to Mysuru
A highway and a railway run north toward Mysuru, a short distance away. On the map they are two long, confident lines crossing an otherwise rural setting.

为什么选Nanjangūd
一张有意义的地图
For families from the region and pilgrims who have visited the temple, this map holds a lot of meaning in a few simple lines. The river and the temple quarter are recognisable at once, even without colour or labels.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a family name or the date of a visit. The poster comes in five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to the warmer Paper and Sand or the technical look of Blueprint.
