Airport runways
The runways and taxiways of Narita International Airport form long parallel lines east of the town. They are the most precise and recognisable element on the map.

关于地图
Narita Map Poster & Print
Most people know Narita for its airport. On a map the long runways of Narita International are the strongest shapes in the area, set among farmland and woods on the Shimōsa plateau east of Tokyo. Terminal loops, access roads and the rail lines to the capital add a clean, engineered geometry to the east of the old town.
The older heart of the city looks entirely different. Naritasan Shinshō-ji, a large Buddhist temple founded in 940, sits within wooded grounds and a park. The Omotesandō approach street winds downhill toward it, lined with shops and eel restaurants. Here the map shows a small, irregular pattern of lanes, very unlike the airport's straight lines.
Between the temple and the airport lie residential districts, golf courses, rice fields in low valleys and newer developments such as Narita New Town. A Narita map poster brings the contrast into one frame: a pilgrimage town with more than a thousand years of history and one of Japan's main international gateways, only a few kilometres apart.

Omotesandō approach
The curving street to Naritasan Shinshō-ji is lined with traditional shops. It descends through the old town in a gentle arc toward the temple grounds.
Plateau and valleys
The city sits on raised plateau land cut by narrow valleys. Rice fields and small streams in those valleys form a soft, branching pattern between the neighbourhoods.

为什么选Narita
一张有意义的地图
For travellers, Narita is often the first or last place they see in Japan, and for residents it is home beside a global gateway. You can personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle marking a flight or arrival date, and the coordinates line.
Noir and Blueprint give the runways a sharp, technical edge, while Paper, Sand and Classic black & white suit the temple town. The digital download costs $9 and includes six sizes, among them 24×36″ and 50×70 cm.
