关于地图
Nautanwa Map Poster & Print
Nautanwa lies in Maharajganj district in eastern Uttar Pradesh, only a few kilometres from the Nepal border at Sonauli. On a map the town forms a compact cluster on the flat Terai plain. Its streets are packed around the centre, and cultivated fields stretch away on every side. Roads leading north toward the border give the plan a clear direction.
The town is the terminus of the railway line from Gorakhpur, so trains end here instead of passing through. For many travellers it is a gateway: pilgrims heading to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha across the border, often pass through Nautanwa or nearby Sonauli. That traffic has long shaped its markets and roads.
A Nautanwa map poster shows a town defined by where things end and begin: the end of the rail line and the start of the road into Nepal. It suits families from Maharajganj, people who have crossed the border here, and travellers who remember the town as the last stop before Lumbini.

Road to the border
Roads head north toward Sonauli and the Nepal crossing. They mark the route taken by travellers and pilgrims bound for Lumbini.
Terai plain
The land around the town is flat and cultivated. The poster keeps it as open space, so the dense street cluster stands out clearly.

为什么选Nautanwa
一张有意义的地图
Nautanwa means different things to different people: home, a family town, or the threshold of a journey into Nepal. A clean street map holds all of those meanings without spelling them out, and it looks at ease in a study, a hallway or a shop.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, perhaps with a travel date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download six print sizes for $9 or order a matte printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
