关于地图
Newark Map Poster & Print
Newark is a city in northern New Castle County, Delaware, close to the borders with Maryland and Pennsylvania. It is best known as the home of the University of Delaware, whose campus takes up a large share of the town and shapes its daily rhythm. Main Street, lined with shops and restaurants, runs through the centre and serves both students and residents.
On the map, the university stands out as a sequence of quadrangles and greens. At the heart of the historic campus is The Green, with academic buildings arranged around open lawns. Around this core, older residential streets form a loose grid, and newer neighbourhoods curve outward toward the city's edges. White Clay Creek and Christina Creek run through wooded valleys, adding strips of green.
A Newark map poster is a natural choice for graduates, because the campus and Main Street take such a clear place in the composition. It also suits families who have lived here for years and faculty and staff who know the town well. The creek valleys and the railway line give the frame a strong structure.
