Five-way junction
Five waterways meet at the heart of the town and give it its name. On the map this junction forms a natural focal point, like the centre of a star.

关于地图
Ngã Năm Map Poster & Print
From above, Ngã Năm is organised around water. Canals and channels come together at the centre of the town, and the streets run along their banks, not in a grid. Houses and roads follow the waterways outward, forming long lines through rice fields and orchards. The map looks less like a city plan than a drawing of a delta.
The name Ngã Năm means five-way junction, a reference to the five waterways that meet here. The town is known for its floating market, where boats gathered to trade produce, and water remains central to local life. Ngã Năm was part of Sóc Trăng province and has been administered under Cần Thơ City since the 2025 provincial merger.
A Ngã Năm map poster is a good example of how geography shapes a town. The meeting of canals gives the print a clear central point, and the waterways spreading out from it provide strong, flowing lines. In black and white, the delta's pattern of water and land becomes especially clear.

Canal-side streets
Roads and houses line the canal banks, stretching the town along the water. These long, narrow strips define the shape of the settlement.
Rice field grid
Beyond the town, fields and irrigation channels form a fine pattern of rectangles. They surround the canals and give the print a soft, even background.
