Regular street grid
The town is laid out in straight, evenly spaced streets, and the urban area reads as a clean, compact rectangle from above.

关于地图
Nova Olímpia Map Poster & Print
Nova Olímpia is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, in the south-west of the state. Like many towns in the region, it is relatively young and was laid out with purpose. On a map the urban area forms a clear grid of straight streets and rectangular blocks set in wide, open land.
Agriculture shapes the landscape beyond the town. Large fields with sharp edges, many of them devoted to sugarcane, cover much of the territory, crossed by rural roads and service tracks. Rivers and strips of riverside forest create darker, winding lines between the cultivated plots.
A Nova Olímpia map poster works because of that contrast between the dense, ordered town and the vast geometric farmland around it. It is the picture of a working agricultural centre, drawn with the directness of the landscape it belongs to.

Farmland geometry
Large fields with straight boundaries cover the surrounding land and give the print a strong, graphic pattern of lines and blocks.
Riverside forest
Winding rivers and the trees along them break up the fields and add the only strongly curved lines to the map.
