Planned grid
Straight streets and square blocks form the centre, a reminder that the town was deliberately laid out rather than grown slowly.

关于地图
Nueva Guinea Map Poster & Print
Nueva Guinea lies in the south of Nicaragua's Caribbean region, in rolling lowland country once covered by rainforest. The town is a clear grid of streets laid out on open ground, with a few main roads leaving it toward outlying communities. Around it, the map shows a patchwork of farms, pastures and remaining woodland.
The town is relatively young. It grew in the second half of the twentieth century as part of an agricultural settlement programme that brought families from other parts of Nicaragua to farm the region. That planned beginning shows clearly in its straightforward street layout.
A Nueva Guinea map poster shows a planned grid surrounded by open land. The streets are simple and even, the edges are clear, and the roads to the countryside draw long lines outward. It is a direct image, suited to families who helped build the town or who still farm around it.

为什么选Nueva Guinea
一张有意义的地图
For families who came to Nueva Guinea to farm and build new lives, the town's grid carries a lot of personal history. A map is a simple way to honour that.
You can change the title and subtitle, perhaps to include a family name or the year of arrival, and set the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
