关于地图
Numan Map Poster & Print
Numan is in Adamawa State in northeastern Nigeria, close to the confluence of the Gongola and Benue rivers. Water shapes the map. Broad river channels, sandbanks and seasonal floodplains surround the town, and the built-up area sits on the firmer ground beside them.
The street pattern is fairly compact, with main roads leading out toward neighbouring towns and a road crossing that links the two sides of the river system. Beyond the town, farmland follows the fertile land along the rivers, and irregular field boundaries fill the gaps between channels and tracks.
Numan has long been a river port and trading town in the Benue valley. A Numan map poster shows it at the point where two rivers meet: a small urban grid framed by wide, braided water. It is a composition that looks striking in a minimal style.
