Planned districts
Residential areas were laid out in regular blocks and neighbourhoods. They give the town centre a clean, deliberate geometry on the map.

关于地图
Nyagan Map Poster & Print
Nyagan lies in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Western Siberia, in the basin of the Ob River. It is a young town. It grew in the late twentieth century with the development of nearby oil and gas fields and with the railway that reached it. From above, its planned residential districts sit as clear blocks inside an almost unbroken expanse of taiga.
The streets are orderly and fairly wide, with apartment blocks in groups and industrial zones kept apart. Around the town, the map fills with forest, bogs and small rivers. These winding waterways contrast sharply with the straight lines of the town and its access roads.
A Nyagan map poster shows a settlement defined by its setting: a compact grid carved out of northern forest. The emptiness around the town is part of the picture. It gives the composition a strong sense of distance and scale.

Taiga surround
Forest and wetland surround the town on every side. They leave wide open margins that make the built-up area stand out.
Winding streams
Small rivers of the Ob basin meander through the surrounding land. Their loose curves contrast with the town's straight streets.

为什么选Nyagan
一张有意义的地图
Nyagan means a great deal to the people who built careers or raised families there, far from anywhere else. A map of the town holds that sense of a small, warm grid in a vast forest.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark an arrival year, a posting or a family story. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
