关于地图
Olteniţa Map Poster & Print
Olteniţa lies in Călărași County in southern Romania, on the left bank of the Danube where the Argeș river flows into it. From above, the town is shaped by water: the broad Danube runs along its southern edge, the Argeș arrives from the north, and flat floodplain, lakes and farmland spread around the built-up area.
Across the river lies the Bulgarian town of Tutrakan, and a ferry connects the two banks. The area has been inhabited for thousands of years. The prehistoric Gumelnița culture takes its name from an archaeological site near Olteniţa. The town also has a history of shipbuilding and river trade.
An Olteniţa map poster combines two rivers, a port town and a national border in one frame. The Danube forms a broad, calm band along the bottom, the Argeș adds a winding line, and the town's grid sits between them. The print is open and well balanced, with water as its main theme.

Argeș confluence
The Argeș flows into the Danube beside the town. Its winding course and floodplain add a natural curve to the composition.
Town grid
Regular streets fill the land between the two rivers. The planned layout contrasts with the soft shapes of the water and wetlands around it.
