Ortaca Map Poster & Print
Ortaca sits on low, level ground in western Muğla, a short way inland from the Mediterranean. From above, the town centre is a compact knot of streets surrounded by a wide patchwork of fields and greenhouses. Straight rural roads divide the plain into regular plots, and the main coastal highway runs past the edge of town.
South of the centre, the map changes. Dry land turns into wetland, and the Dalyan channel winds through reed beds toward İztuzu, a long sand spit that separates a lagoon from the sea. The beach is known as a nesting ground for loggerhead turtles, and the district is also home to the rock-cut tombs of ancient Kaunos, which overlook the river.
An Ortaca map poster holds both of these in one frame: the orderly geometry of an agricultural town and the loose, looping water to the south. In black and white, the fields become a fine texture, the town reads as a denser cluster, and the river channel draws a single meandering line through the lower half of the sheet.

İztuzu sand spit
A long, thin strip of beach between lagoon and open water. It is protected as a loggerhead turtle nesting site and appears as a clean pale line along the coast.
The field grid
Around the town, straight farm roads split the plain into rectangular plots. At poster scale they create an even, woven background for the denser streets in the centre.
