Lake Drwęckie
The long lake stretches north from the town as a wide, elongated shape, framing the centre and giving the poster its dominant form.

关于地图
Ostróda Map Poster & Print
Ostróda sits in the lake district of Warmia-Masuria, at the southern end of Lake Drwęckie, a long, narrow body of water that dominates the map. The town wraps around the lake shore and the Drwęca river, with the old centre close to the water and residential districts climbing gently away from it.
Its best-known feature is the Elbląg Canal, the nineteenth-century waterway that links Ostróda with Elbląg and the Vistula Lagoon. The canal is famous for its inclined planes, where boats are carried overland on rail cradles. Near the waterfront stands the Teutonic castle, a reminder of the town's medieval origins.
An Ostróda map poster brings together water and town in near-equal measure. The broad lake surface, the narrow canal leaving it to the north, the harbour and promenade, and the regular blocks of the centre give the drawing a calm, open structure that suits a place defined by summer sailing and long evening walks along the shore.

Elbląg Canal
The historic canal begins here, its thin line leading out across the countryside toward the inclined planes further north.
Teutonic castle
Near the river and lakefront, the castle's compact square footprint marks the medieval heart of Ostróda.

为什么选Ostróda
一张有意义的地图
Ostróda is a summer destination for many Polish families, and a map of the lake and promenade is a natural keepsake for those who return every year or have moved away from the region.
Choose your own title, subtitle and date, and edit the coordinates line to suit. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let the lake read either as a crisp white shape or as a soft, warm field.
