Open block grid
Large, loosely filled blocks make up the town. The widely spaced lines leave generous white space, and the composition feels calm and measured.

关于地图
Pala Map Poster & Print
Pala is the capital of Mayo-Kebbi Ouest province in southwestern Chad, not far from the border with Cameroon. The country here is savanna, with seasonal watercourses and wide horizons. On a map the town appears as a low-density grid of blocks and compounds. Wide roads divide it, and the edges fade into farmland and bush.
As an administrative centre, Pala links surrounding villages to the wider region, and its main roads carry that role. They leave town in several directions and become tracks that cross the plain. Inside the town, the blocks are large and fairly open, which gives the linework a spacious, uncluttered feel.
A Pala map poster is a picture of a regional centre in the Sahel-Sudan belt, drawn with restraint. The streets are sparse and well spaced, the roads are long, and open ground dominates, so the image reads almost like a diagram. It suits a minimalist interior, and it gives a lesser-known place the same careful treatment as any capital.

Savanna edges
Beyond the built-up area the map opens into countryside, with scattered tracks and seasonal watercourses crossing the plain.
