Market town core
The centre is a tight tangle of short lanes and junctions where the regional roads come together, drawn much more densely than anything around it.

关于地图
Pallippatti Map Poster & Print
Pallippatti is a small town in northern Tamil Nadu, in the dry upland country between the plains and the scattered ranges of the Eastern Ghats. On a map it reads as a dense cluster of lanes where several country roads meet. Beyond it lies a wide patchwork of fields, small settlements and the rounded outlines of irrigation tanks, which are common across this part of the state.
The town's shape comes from its role as a local market centre for the villages around it. Roads leave the core in almost every direction, each lined with a thin string of houses before it fades into farmland. Rocky outcrops and low hills break the flat ground here and there, and on a detailed map they show up as quiet gaps in the network of tracks.
A Pallippatti map poster suits people who know the town from the ground: its streets, its market roads and the routes out to surrounding villages. Stripped of colour, the map becomes a simple study of a hub and its spokes, a small dense centre surrounded by open, lightly lined countryside.

Radiating country roads
Roads leave town like spokes, each carrying a thin line of buildings for a short way before opening into fields and scattered villages.
Tanks and farmland
Rounded irrigation tanks and field boundaries fill the land around the town, giving the outer map a soft, irregular texture.

为什么选Pallippatti
一张有意义的地图
Many families from small Tamil Nadu towns now live far from home, and a map of the streets where they grew up keeps that place close. It makes a personal gift for parents, for a wedding or for a new house in another city.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, for example to a family name or a meaningful date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
