Delta channels
River branches and canals cross the surrounding plain. Their curving lines give the map most of its movement.

关于地图
Patāmundai Map Poster & Print
Patāmundai is in Kendrapara district, in the low delta country of Odisha, where the rivers divide before they reach the Bay of Bengal. From above the landscape is almost completely flat. Water channels, embankments and fields take up much of the map, and the town is a compact cluster of lanes set among them.
In a delta, roads usually follow the higher ground and the embankments. As a result, Patāmundai's main routes run along slightly raised lines, and smaller lanes branch off toward villages and farmland. The town serves as a market centre for the surrounding rural area.
A Patāmundai map poster turns this low, watery landscape into a delicate drawing. It shows a small street network, the paths of the channels and the open fields around them. It is a restrained image that suits a calm interior and anyone with family ties to coastal Odisha.

Embankment roads
Main roads follow the raised ground between the waterways. This gives the street network long, gently bending lines.
Market core
The town centre is a compact grid of lanes. It stands out clearly against the open agricultural land around it.

一张有意义的地图
Patāmundai is the kind of place people carry with them when they move to Bhubaneswar, Kolkata or further afield. A map of home keeps its lanes and channels in view.
You can add a family name, a wedding date or the name of your village in the title and subtitle. You can also adjust the coordinates line and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
