关于地图
Patos de Minas Map Poster & Print
Patos de Minas is the main city of the Alto Paranaíba region in western Minas Gerais. It stands on high, gently rolling ground, and its streets spread in broad grids across the terrain, with a denser centre around the cathedral and main squares. From above the city appears compact at its core and increasingly open at the edges, where blocks give way to fields.
The name refers to the wild ducks once found in the lagoons of the area, and water still shapes the setting: the Paranaíba River, one of the two rivers that join to form the Paraná, passes close to the city on its way west, its winding course a counterpoint to the straight streets.
The surrounding region is a major producer of maize, and the city hosts the Festa Nacional do Milho, a large annual agricultural fair. A Patos de Minas map poster records a practical, well-ordered inland city, its grid and river setting drawn in clean lines far from the Brazilian coast.

Paranaíba River
One of the two rivers that join to form the Paraná, it winds past the city, a soft natural line set against the straight streets.
Expanding edges
Newer neighbourhoods extend the grid outwards across open ground, and on the map the blocks thin out gradually into roads, farms and pasture.

为什么选Patos de Minas
一张有意义的地图
Patos de Minas is home to farming families, students and professionals who often move on to Belo Horizonte or São Paulo. A map poster of the city keeps its streets and river close, a personal piece for a new apartment or a gift for someone far from Minas.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a neighbourhood or a year, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are on offer, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as $9 HD files or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
