Mount's Bay shoreline
The promenade follows a wide, shallow curve of coast, giving the map a strong sweeping edge where the dense street pattern meets open water facing south and east.

关于地图
Penzance Map Poster & Print
Penzance sits on the western shore of Mount's Bay, close to the far end of Cornwall and of England itself. From above, the town is a loose fan of streets rising from the harbour and the seafront promenade. Market Jew Street runs up the spine of the hill, Chapel Street drops more steeply back toward the water, and Newlyn continues the built edge south-west around the bay.
The coastline does most of the drawing here. The promenade traces a long, gentle arc, the harbour walls hook out into the bay, and the triangular Jubilee Pool, an art deco seawater lido, sits on the rocks below the old town. Across the water, St Michael's Mount rises from the sea near Marazion, joined to the mainland at low tide by a causeway.
The town gave its name to Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera The Pirates of Penzance, and the chemist Humphry Davy was born here; his statue stands at the top of Market Jew Street. A Penzance map poster keeps the essentials of all this: the bay, the harbour, the terraced streets and the thin line of the railway that ends beside the quay.

Harbour and quays
Stone harbour walls enclose the basins at the foot of the old town, and the quay serves the ferry that sails to the Isles of Scilly.
End of the line
The main railway line through Cornwall terminates at Penzance, its tracks running along the shore and stopping near the harbour, a clean line that ends where the land nearly does.

为什么选Penzance
一张有意义的地图
People hang Penzance for the last stretch of a journey west: a holiday base, a first sight of the Mount, a childhood spent by the sea. The curve of the bay and the harbour are recognisable from across a room, even without reading a single label.
Give it your own title and subtitle, put a meaningful date in the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download covers six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files, without a watermark.
