关于地图
Piranga Map Poster & Print
Piranga is a town in the Zona da Mata of Minas Gerais, founded in the eighteenth century during the colonial gold era that shaped much of the state. It lies on the Piranga river, one of the headwaters that, together with the Carmo, forms the Rio Doce, one of southeastern Brazil's major rivers.
The terrain is hilly, and the town's streets follow it. From above, the older centre is compact, with streets bending to the slopes and the river, while newer areas climb the surrounding hillsides. Roads wind away through a landscape of green hills, farms and scattered woodland.
A Piranga map poster brings out the relationship between river and town: a winding waterway, a small historic core and a network of lanes adapted to the ground. It is a gentle, organic composition that suits a black-and-white or warm paper style particularly well.

Colonial core
The older centre dates from the eighteenth century and keeps an irregular, hill-following street pattern typical of the historic towns of Minas Gerais.
Rolling hills
Hills surround the town, and roads wind between them in soft curves, giving the outer parts of the map a relaxed, meandering quality.
