关于地图
Pitoa Map Poster & Print
Pitoa lies in Cameroon's North Region, a short distance from Garoua, in the broad plain of the Benue River basin. The landscape here is flat and open, a savanna of fields, scattered trees and seasonal watercourses. On a map, the town appears as a cluster of streets and compounds gathered around main roads, with settlement thinning out into farmland in every direction.
Life in the area follows the rhythm of the dry and rainy seasons, and the map reflects this: watercourses that swell with the rains cross the land as fine lines, and fields and tracks form a loose pattern around the town. Roads connect Pitoa with Garoua, the regional capital, and with villages across the plain, shaping how the town grows along its main routes.
A Pitoa map poster is a personal object for families of the town and for those who have moved to Garoua, Yaoundé or abroad. In monochrome, the loose pattern of streets, compounds and tracks reads as quiet and open, a portrait of a place shaped by the land around it.

Savanna plain
Flat farmland and scattered trees surround the town, crossed by seasonal streams and tracks that appear as thin lines in wide open space.
