Founding square
The central square is the heart of the 1930s plan. Streets radiate from it in a regular pattern, forming a compact geometric core that stands out on the map.

关于地图
Pomezia Map Poster & Print
Pomezia was founded in 1938–39 as one of the new towns built on land reclaimed from the Pontine Marshes south of Rome. Its plan still shows that origin. The streets gather around a formal central square with a church and town hall, and the main roads leave from there in clear, deliberate directions toward Rome, the hills and the coast.
The municipality stretches well beyond the town itself. Toward the Tyrrhenian Sea lies Torvaianica, a seaside district with long beaches, while Pratica di Mare stands on the site of ancient Lavinium, traditionally linked to the legend of Aeneas. The Via Pontina runs past Pomezia, and business parks and warehouses fill much of the flat land between town and motorway.
A Pomezia map poster shows a planned twentieth-century core set within a much older landscape. The symmetry of the centre, the loose industrial areas and the thin line of coast together make an unusual composition. It is a map of a town that was drawn on paper first, and that still reads clearly from above.

Via Pontina
The main road south from Rome runs beside the town, a long straight stroke with business districts and warehouses lined up along it.
Torvaianica coast
The municipality reaches the Tyrrhenian Sea at Torvaianica, where a long, straight coastline of beaches and pine woods closes off the western edge of the map.

为什么选Pomezia
一张有意义的地图
A Pomezia map appeals to anyone interested in planned towns, and to families who have lived between Rome and the sea for generations. The formal centre and the coastline make a clean, architectural image for a study or a living room.
Add a title and subtitle, perhaps naming Torvaianica or a family address, and set the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the planned layout particularly well.
