关于地图
Ponta Grossa Map Poster & Print
Ponta Grossa sits on the Campos Gerais, a high plateau of natural grassland in the state of Paraná, and its nickname, Princesa dos Campos, reflects that setting. The city is built over a series of rounded hills, so its streets bend and change direction often. Small grids are fitted to each slope rather than to a single regular plan.
Ponta Grossa grew as a stop on the old cattle route between the south and São Paulo, and later as an important railway junction whose lines still cut through the city. The historic station area near the centre and the tracks leading out in several directions add long, sweeping curves to the map.
Nearby, Vila Velha State Park protects sandstone towers shaped by erosion and is one of the best-known natural sites in Paraná. A Ponta Grossa map poster shows a city that has grown across its hills. The curving lines of streets and railway give the design an organic, flowing character that suits a quiet room.

Railway lines
Rail tracks enter and leave the city in several directions. They recall its role as a junction and form a strong graphic element on the poster.
Campos Gerais
Open grassland and farmland stretch to the horizon around the city. They appear as calm space that frames the built-up area.
