Compact street grid
The centre is built on a fairly regular set of blocks. On the sheet it reads as one tidy cluster within wide open land.

关于地图
Poxoréu Map Poster & Print
Poxoréu lies in southeastern Mato Grosso, in the high savanna country known as the cerrado. The town grew in the early twentieth century around diamond prospecting. Miners working the gravel of local streams created the first settlement, and the name Poxoréu is often linked to the diamond rush that shaped this part of the state.
On the map, the town is a modest grid of streets set among low hills. Small rivers and creeks run through the surrounding land, and roads leave in a few directions toward neighbouring towns and farms. Past the edges of the urban area the land opens up quickly into pasture and scrub.
A Poxoréu map poster shows a simple arrangement: a compact centre, a network of watercourses tracing the low ground and a few long rural roads. It is a quiet image of an inland Brazilian town with an unusual origin in diamonds.

Stream valleys
Small rivers and creeks run across the surrounding cerrado. Their winding lines recall the stream gravels that first brought prospectors to the area.
Roads into the interior
Long rural roads leave the town toward farms and neighbouring municipalities. They cross the empty space around the grid in long, thin lines.

为什么选Poxoréu
一张有意义的地图
People with family ties to Mato Grosso's diamond towns, or who grew up in Poxoréu, often want a picture of home that is more than a photograph. A clean map of its streets does that without fuss.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed to a family name, a year or a short note. Five styles are available. Sand and Paper suit the warm tones of the cerrado, and Noir gives a sharper look.
