关于地图
Prince Patrick Island Map Poster & Print
Prince Patrick Island is among the westernmost islands of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, in the Northwest Territories. It faces the Arctic Ocean on its western side. From above it is a large, irregular landmass of low, flat terrain, cut by long inlets and bays. Sea ice holds it for most of the year.
The island is uninhabited. There are no towns or roads, only the outline of the coast and the drainage channels that cross the tundra. For decades a joint weather station operated at Mould Bay, on the eastern side, and it was one of the few long-term human outposts in this part of the Arctic.
On a map, the island's appeal lies in its scale and emptiness, a wide shape shaped by ice and shallow seas. A Prince Patrick Island map poster renders that stark geography in a calm, minimal form.

为什么选Prince Patrick Island
一张有意义的地图
This is a map for people fascinated by the high Arctic: researchers, former station staff and armchair explorers alike. Its empty, wide form gives a room a sense of distance and quiet.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps to mark a posting, an expedition or a date. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
