关于地图
Quilpué Map Poster & Print
Quilpué lies inland from Viña del Mar, in the valley of the Marga Marga stream, within the Greater Valparaíso area. The city occupies the valley floor and climbs the hills on either side, so the map shows a central band of regular blocks with streets curling upward into the slopes. The creek and the suburban rail line run through the valley together, forming its main axis.
Quilpué is known as the City of the Sun, a reference to its sunnier and drier climate compared with the coast, which is often covered in morning fog. It is the capital of Marga Marga Province, and many residents commute to Viña del Mar and Valparaíso on the Metro Valparaíso line that crosses the city.
A Quilpué map poster reflects the way the city follows its landscape. The flat centre forms a tidy grid, the rail line and creek draw a long curve through it, and the hillside neighbourhoods break into winding roads and irregular blocks. It is a clear portrait of a valley city.

Metro Valparaíso
The suburban rail line runs through the valley, linking Quilpué to Viña del Mar and Valparaíso. It forms a long continuous line across the map.
Hillside neighbourhoods
On the slopes, streets twist and branch to follow the terrain, creating a looser, more organic pattern at the edges of the city.

为什么选Quilpué
一张有意义的地图
Quilpué is home to many families who work on the coast but prefer the valley's sunshine. A map of the city suits a new home, a family house or someone who has moved away from the Valparaíso region.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, in Spanish or English, and the poster comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 HD download covers six sizes, including 50×70 cm.
