Old town core
The oldest part of Rāikot is a tight cluster of lanes and bazaars. On the poster it reads as a dark, finely textured centre.

关于地图
Rāikot Map Poster & Print
Rāikot is a town in Ludhiana district, Punjab, on the flat alluvial plain between the Sutlej and the drier country to the south. The land here is intensively farmed, and the fields around the town look almost like a grid from above. That grid is one of the strongest features of the map.
The town has an important place in Sikh history. It is linked to the local chief Rai Kalha, who sheltered Guru Gobind Singh, and that episode is remembered at Gurdwara Tahliana Sahib. The older centre forms a compact knot of streets, with newer colonies spreading out along the roads.
A Rāikot map poster sets the dense market core against the rectangular field boundaries and straight canal-side roads around it. The contrast is a very Punjabi one: an old, irregular town inside a highly ordered farm landscape.

Field geometry
Straight field edges and farm tracks form a grid that stretches in every direction. It gives the whole print a calm, measured pattern.
Roads to the region
Main roads leave the town toward Ludhiana, Barnala and nearby villages. They run as long, confident lines across the plain.
