关于地图
Rawad Map Poster & Print
Rawad, also written Raoued, lies in the Ariana Governorate on the northern edge of greater Tunis. From above, it occupies a strip of land between the Mediterranean coast and the wide, flat Sebkha Ariana, a salt lagoon. The residential streets spread across the land between them, and the long sandy beach runs along the eastern edge.
The area has grown quickly as part of the Tunis metropolitan region, and it combines residential neighbourhoods, new developments and farmland. The Raoued beach is a popular summer destination for people from the capital, and the coastline in this area is long, open and straight compared with the more indented coast elsewhere in the gulf.
A Rawad map poster is defined by two large surfaces. The Mediterranean fills one side, the sebkha fills another, and the street network lies between them. The contrast between the dense streets and the two open expanses of water gives the print a clear, balanced and unusual structure.

Suburban street pattern
Residential neighbourhoods fill the land between the lagoon and the sea, mixing regular new developments with older, more irregular street layouts.

为什么选Rawad
一张有意义的地图
Rawad means summer beaches for many people from Tunis, and home for many others. A map that shows both the sea and the sebkha captures its setting in a single calm image.
Add a name, a date or a line in Arabic or French to the title, subtitle and coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
