关于地图
Raymore Map Poster & Print
Raymore is in Cass County, Missouri, on the southern edge of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Its map is a clear example of how a modern American suburb grows. The main roads follow the square grid of the old land survey, one mile apart. The spaces between them are filled with curving residential streets, loops and cul-de-sacs that look almost ornamental from above.
Much of the town was built in recent decades, and its layout reflects that. It has neighbourhoods designed as separate units, parks and ponds in the gaps between them, and commercial areas gathered near the main junctions. Beyond the built-up edge, farmland and undeveloped plots continue the same grid into the countryside.
A Raymore map poster turns this suburban layout into an intricate pattern. Straight section roads frame each block of neighbourhoods, and inside them the looping streets create shapes that change from one subdivision to the next. In black and white, the design has a surprisingly graphic quality, much more so than the everyday experience of driving through it suggests.

Curving subdivisions
Inside each square, residential streets bend into loops and cul-de-sacs. Each neighbourhood has its own distinct pattern on the map.
Parks and ponds
Green spaces and small ponds sit between neighbourhoods and break up the dense street pattern with soft, open shapes.
