Roadside settlement
Houses and shops line the main roads, giving the town a linear shape that stretches across the map rather than forming a round centre.

关于地图
Reuleuet Map Poster & Print
Reuleuet lies on the coastal plain of northern Aceh, on the island of Sumatra, between the Strait of Malacca and the mountains of the interior. On a map the settlement follows the main roads, with houses and small lanes lining them and rice fields, plantations and villages filling the spaces in between.
This part of Aceh is largely flat and green, crossed by rivers flowing from the highlands to the sea. Towns here tend to grow along transport routes rather than around a single dense centre, so the map shows a linear pattern of streets with branches reaching into the surrounding countryside.
A Reuleuet map poster captures this open, stretched-out form. The lines of the roads and the finer network of village lanes create a design that feels calm and spacious, with plenty of empty space representing the fields. It is a modest, honest portrait of daily life on the Acehnese coastal plain.

Village lanes
Narrow lanes branch off into villages and farmland, forming a fine network that gradually fades toward the edges of the poster.
Coastal plain fields
Rice fields and plantations fill the open areas around the town, giving the composition a spacious, uncluttered feel typical of northern Aceh.
