Ridgewood Map Poster & Print
Ridgewood is a village in Bergen County, northern New Jersey, about twenty miles from Manhattan. Its layout grew around the railway, and the station still sits at the centre of the map, with the downtown shopping streets arranged close by. From there, tree-lined residential streets spread out across gently rolling ground in a loose, irregular grid.
The Ho-Ho-Kus Brook runs through the village, and parkland follows parts of its course. Ridgewood is known locally for Graydon Pool, a large natural swimming pool with a sandy bottom, fed by the brook. Van Neste Square, a small green near the station, serves as the village's central public space.
