The eastern highway
The main road from Kigali runs straight through town. It is the clearest line on the map, and most of the street network hangs off it before climbing the nearby slopes.

关于地图
Rwamagana Map Poster & Print
Rwamagana sits on the main road east of Kigali and serves as the seat of Rwanda's Eastern Province. From above, the town follows that highway: one strong line crosses the sheet, and shorter streets branch off it onto the surrounding slopes. Rwanda is often called the land of a thousand hills, and here the pattern of ridges and hollows shapes every road.
Beyond the built-up centre, the map loosens into a scatter of lanes, footpaths and small clusters of homes on the hillsides. Wider views catch the edges of Lake Muhazi to the north and Lake Mugesera to the south. Their long, fingered shorelines stand out against the land and give the composition a natural frame.
A Rwamagana map poster reduces all of this to line and space. The highway is the spine, the minor streets are fine threads, and the lakes become calm open shapes. It is a quiet, balanced picture of a regional capital that grew along a road through green, rolling country.

Lakes on either side
At wider scales, the long, branching shorelines of Lake Muhazi and Lake Mugesera appear to the north and south, adding large, irregular water shapes to the design.
Hillside lanes
Away from the centre, streets bend with the terrain. They follow ridgelines and drop into valleys, so the town has an organic, unforced outline.

为什么选Rwamagana
一张有意义的地图
Rwamagana is often a personal place: a hometown, a posting, or a stop on a journey through eastern Rwanda. A map of its streets keeps that connection simple and understated. It fits well in a study, a hallway or a gift for someone who knows the road east from Kigali.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a name, a year or a meaningful date. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each gives the ridges and lakes a slightly different mood.
