A large block of straight, evenly spaced roads marks the industrial city. Its regular pattern stands apart sharply from the surrounding neighbourhoods.

关于地图
Saḩāb Map Poster & Print
Saḩāb lies on the plateau southeast of Amman, where the city's outer suburbs thin out toward the desert. On a map it has two distinct characters. There is an older residential core with winding, closely packed streets on uneven ground. Next to it is a large planned industrial zone laid out in long, straight blocks, with wide service roads between warehouses and factories.
The town is home to one of Jordan's main industrial estates, named after King Abdullah II. It is a major employment centre for the capital region. The area is also old. Tell Sahab, an archaeological mound near the town, has produced finds from the Bronze and Iron Ages, which is a reminder that people settled on this edge of the plateau long before the factories arrived.
A Saḩāb map poster puts those two layers side by side: the organic street pattern of a hill town and the ruled geometry of modern industry. In monochrome, the contrast is striking and oddly beautiful. It suits people who work in the estate, families from the town, or anyone drawn to the planning history of greater Amman.

Older town core
The residential centre follows the terrain, with curving lanes and small irregular blocks. It gives the composition a softer, handwritten texture.
Edge of the desert
Toward the east and south, streets fade into open plateau. The built area ends almost abruptly, which gives the map a clear outline.

为什么选Saḩāb
一张有意义的地图
Sahab makes sense on the wall of someone who grew up here, built a business in the estate, or commutes from Amman every day. It is a working place, and the poster treats it with the same attention as a capital.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files cost $9 and cover six print sizes. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
