Sakiet ed Daier is a town in the Sfax Governorate of Tunisia, lying directly north of the city of Sfax. On a map, it belongs to the wider Sfax pattern. Long roads radiate from the city centre toward the countryside, and the land between them is divided into many rectangular plots.
The area around Sfax is known for its gardens and olive cultivation. Here, the pattern of walled plots, houses and tree-lined parcels gives the landscape a textured, grid-like quality. Over time, much of this land has filled in with housing, but the old divisions still shape how the streets run.
