Via Emilia
The Roman road runs straight through the centre, carrying on from Bologna toward Imola. It is the backbone of the town and the strongest line on the map.

关于地图
San Lazzaro Map Poster & Print
San Lazzaro di Savena begins where Bologna ends, on the city's eastern side. On a map the two are joined by the Via Emilia, the ancient Roman road that runs straight across northern Italy. San Lazzaro's main street follows it, and the town fans out on either side. Newer residential quarters fill the flat land to the north.
To the south the ground rises into the first hills of the Apennines. Here lies the Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi, a protected area of gypsum outcrops, sinkholes and caves, including the well-known Grotta della Spipola. The Savena river marks the western side of the town and gives it its full name. Its channel is a clear natural line between San Lazzaro and Bologna.
A San Lazzaro map poster captures the meeting of three landscapes: the straight Roman road, the flat plain of the Po valley and the folded hills. In black and white, the orderly streets of the plain break into winding lanes as they climb, a contrast that reads well at every print size.

Gypsum hills
South of town the Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi rises in folds of gypsum, with karst hollows and caves. Roads there become narrow and curve around the slopes.
Savena river
The river's course along the western edge divides San Lazzaro from Bologna, adding a soft, natural curve against the regular street pattern of the plain.

为什么选San Lazzaro
一张有意义的地图
San Lazzaro suits anyone who has lived on the edge of Bologna and walked up into the hills on a Sunday. The map shows the plain, the old road and the slopes together, a view that captures the town far better than any single photograph.
Choose a title in Italian or English, add a subtitle with your neighbourhood or a date, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
