Castle headland
The headland juts into the North Sea between the two bays, with castle ruins on top. It is the fixed point everything else on the map arranges itself around.

关于地图
Scarborough Map Poster & Print
Scarborough sits on the North Yorkshire coast, and its shape from above is one of the clearest of any English seaside town. A rocky headland, crowned by the ruins of Scarborough Castle, divides the coast into two bays. North Bay is quieter and more residential. South Bay holds the harbour, the old town and the main seafront.
Scarborough is often described as Britain's first seaside resort. Visitors came to drink the spa waters in the 17th century and later to bathe. The Spa buildings, the cliff gardens and the Victorian terraces above South Bay all come from that long history.
A Scarborough map poster captures the sharp contrast between the smooth arcs of the two bays and the dense, winding streets of the old town below the castle. Terraces follow the slopes, parks fill the valleys, and the sea gives the composition a wide, open edge.

North and South Bays
Two broad, curving beaches lie on either side of the headland and give the coastline a distinctive double arc.
Old town and harbour
Below the castle, narrow streets drop steeply toward the harbour, forming the densest and oldest part of the town.

为什么选Scarborough
一张有意义的地图
Scarborough is a place of family holidays, student years and seaside weekends, and its two bays are instantly recognisable. A map of the town is an easy way to hold on to those memories at home.
You can personalise the title and subtitle with a year, a family name or a favourite street, and set the coordinates line. Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand each give the coast its own character.
