关于地图
Sehnde Map Poster & Print
Sehnde lies in the Hanover Region of Lower Saxony, south-east of the city of Hanover. On the map, it is a small town surrounded by flat, open farmland, with a compact centre and several outlying villages that are part of the town, each with its own cluster of streets.
The Mittellandkanal passes through the area, drawn as a long, straight line across the landscape, and a branch canal toward Hildesheim leaves it nearby. Railway lines and roads also cross the town, giving the map a network of strong lines between the fields.
Sehnde has a history of potash mining, and traces of that industry remain in the landscape. A Sehnde map poster shows a town defined by its setting: a compact centre, village clusters, straight canals and rail lines, and the wide agricultural plain of the Hanover region.
