关于地图
Seoni Map Poster & Print
Seoni is a district headquarters in Madhya Pradesh, in the uplands of central India between the Satpura hills and the Wainganga basin. On a map it is a compact town with a dense older centre, lanes branching from market streets, and newer areas spreading along the main roads. The national highway that links north and south India runs past the town.
The district is best known for its forests. Pench National Park lies to the south, straddling the border with Maharashtra, and the hills and jungles of the Seoni region are associated with the landscapes that inspired Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Water tanks and open areas appear within and around the town.
A Seoni map poster presents a modest, clear picture of a central Indian town: the tight core, the roads fanning out, and the transition to fields and forest at its edges. It is a map for people who know the town as home, and for those who connect it with the wild landscapes that lie just beyond.

Dense old centre
The older town is compact, with narrow lanes branching off busy market streets, making the centre a dark, detailed mass compared with the outskirts.
Toward the forests
Beyond the edge of town, fields give way to wooded land and hills, the landscape that leads toward Pench National Park further south.

一张有意义的地图
Seoni means home to its residents and a gateway to the jungle to its visitors. A map of the town, simple and precise, captures that connection, whether as a memento of family, a safari trip or a love of Kipling's forests.
