The railway spine
The line to Sergiev Posad runs straight through Sofrino, and the station sits at its heart. Almost every other street on the map connects back to this one axis.

关于地图
Sofrino Map Poster & Print
Sofrino lies in the Pushkino area of Moscow Oblast, on the railway line that runs northeast from Moscow toward Sergiev Posad. As with many settlements around the capital, the railway shaped its growth. The station acts as the centre of gravity, and the streets on either side extend from it into the surrounding forest.
The settlement is widely known for the Sofrino factory, which produces church items such as icons, vestments and religious objects for the Russian Orthodox Church. On a map, industrial sites and blocks of flats sit next to rows of dacha plots with single-storey houses. Dense woods surround all of it. The mix of forest and small plots is typical of the Moscow region.
A Sofrino map poster uses the railway as its spine. Streets branch off from the line, and the fine grid of dacha plots contrasts with the solid mass of the woods. Rendered in black and white, the settlement looks like a clearing in the forest, organised around a single track.

Dacha plots
Small rectangular lots make a fine, repeating grid at the edges of the settlement. This country-house pattern is common in the forests around Moscow.
Forest surround
Thick woodland closes in on every side and leaves the town as a clearly defined island of streets. It gives the poster its clean outer shape.

为什么选Sofrino
一张有意义的地图
Sofrino is a place people know from summers at the dacha, daily trains into Moscow, or work at the local factory. This map captures that familiar routine in one clear image.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a Cyrillic name, a street or a family year. Paper and Sand bring out the dacha-season mood, while Noir and Classic black & white sharpen the forest outline. Blueprint is also available.
