Northern bays
Deep coves line the northern shore, and each shelters a small harbour village. Together they give that side of the island a finely notched edge.

关于地图
Šolta Map Poster & Print
Šolta lies off the Dalmatian coast just west of Brač and southwest of Split, from where ferries cross in about an hour. It is a narrow island running roughly east to west, with a gentle interior of fields and olive groves. On a map it looks like a slim leaf set in the sea. Neighbouring islands and the mainland lie close enough to show at the edges.
Most of the villages sit either in the interior or in the deep coves of the northern coast. Grohote, the largest settlement, lies inland. Rogač, Nečujam and Stomorska occupy bays along the north side, and Maslinica sits at the western end among a scatter of small islets. The southern coast is steeper and more exposed, and roads barely reach it.
Šolta is known for its olive oil, honey and wine, and for a quiet pace that sets it apart from busier islands nearby. A Šolta map poster traces this balance. A spine of roads links the inland villages to the harbours, the coastline is carved into small bays, and the open Adriatic fills the rest of the frame.

Maslinica islets
At the western end, a cluster of small islands lies off the village of Maslinica. They break the outline into scattered shapes where the island meets the sea.
Inland Grohote
The largest village sits inside the island rather than on the coast. It is a compact cluster of streets with roads running down to the harbours.

为什么选Šolta
一张有意义的地图
Šolta is a favourite of sailors and of families who return to the same bay each summer. Its long, simple shape makes an elegant landscape poster. The harbours along the north coast add enough detail to hold attention.
Add the name of your bay or village, a summer year or the name of your boat to the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles. Sand and Paper suit the Adriatic light, while Blueprint suits a sailor’s wall.
