Lord Street
The town's grand boulevard runs parallel to the coast. With its gardens and canopied arcades, this wide, straight spine is the strongest line through the centre.

关于地图
Southport Map Poster & Print
Southport grew in the nineteenth century as a resort on the flat Lancashire coast north of Liverpool, and its plan still shows that ambition. The centre is organised around Lord Street, a broad, tree-lined boulevard known for its glass-canopied shopfronts. Long, straight residential streets run off it in a generous, almost gridded pattern of Victorian villas and terraces.
The seafront is where the map becomes unusual. The tide goes out a very long way across the flat sands, and Southport Pier, the second-longest in Britain, crosses the Marine Lake and the promenade toward water that is often far away. Sand dunes stretch south toward Ainsdale, and golf links, including Royal Birkdale, fill the coastal strip.
A Southport map poster balances the orderly town against the soft, shifting coastline beside it: the pier as a single straight line, the rectangular lake, and the dunes and courses beyond. This is a town of promenades and gardens as much as streets, and that open, airy feeling carries into the print.

Pier and Marine Lake
The pier crosses the Marine Lake and the promenade on its way toward the sea. One of the longest in the country, it makes a striking single stroke on the map.
Dunes and links
South of the town, dunes and championship golf courses such as Royal Birkdale form a textured coastal band where the streets give way to sandy, open ground.

为什么选Southport
一张有意义的地图
Southport holds decades of day trips, holidays and golf weekends for families across the North West. A map of its boulevard and shoreline is elegant enough for a living room and specific enough to mean something to anyone who knows the town.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a date, an address or a message, and edit the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download six print sizes or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
