Branching lanes
Instead of a planned grid, the streets grow outward from a few main roads, splitting and rejoining in a loose pattern that is typical of towns on the Telangana upland.

关于地图
Srīrāmnagar Map Poster & Print
Srīrāmnagar sits on the Deccan Plateau in Telangana, in the broad upland country southwest of Hyderabad. From above, the town has no single centre. Its lanes branch off a few through roads and fade into a patchwork of farm plots, with the occasional pale mark of a tank or reservoir between them.
The map works because the pattern is so quiet. The Deccan often puts outcrops, dry watercourses and scattered settlements into one frame, and at this scale the lines stay light and irregular. Built-up blocks thin out at the edges and give way to field boundaries, so the town and the land around it read as one surface rather than two separate things.
A Srīrāmnagar map poster suits someone who knows the place from the inside: the roads walked every day and the turnings that are never signposted. In black and white, those familiar routes become a clean, spare drawing of a town that most maps skip, shown with the same care as any capital.

Field margins
At the edges, built-up blocks give way to farmland. Plot boundaries and tracks carry the linework out to the poster's edge, where they read as fine hatching.
Plateau setting
The town sits on the Deccan Plateau. The surrounding country is open and gently uneven, which keeps the composition airy and leaves plenty of white space around the settlement.

为什么选Srīrāmnagar
一张有意义的地图
People hang this map for the lanes they grew up on, for a family home, or to remember a stretch of life spent in rural Telangana. Add the family name, a year or a short line in the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates line to the exact spot.
The poster comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. For $9 you get digital HD files in six sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF with no watermark. You can also order it printed on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
