River meets fjord
The Stjørdalselva broadens as it reaches the Trondheimsfjord, with sandbanks and shallow channels at its mouth that give the map its most organic edge.

关于地图
Stjørdalshalsen Map Poster & Print
Stjørdalshalsen is the main town of Stjørdal municipality, set on the flat land where the Stjørdalselva flows into the Trondheimsfjord, east of Trondheim. From above, the river mouth, the curving shoreline and the town's grid of streets fit together in a compact composition, with farmland spreading up the valley behind.
The most striking shape on the map is Trondheim Airport Værnes, whose long runway lies on the level ground beside the town and points toward the fjord. The railway, the E6 and the E14 heading up the valley toward Sweden add further strong lines, making the town an important junction for central Norway.
Close by is the small village of Hell, known far beyond Norway for its railway station sign. A Stjørdalshalsen map poster captures the whole setting: a river widening into the fjord, a runway aimed at the water, and a neat town built on the flat ground in between.

Værnes runway
The airport's long, straight runway sits right beside the town, one of the boldest geometric shapes on the poster and a daily sight for residents.
Valley routes east
The E14 and the railway follow the Stjørdal valley inland toward the Swedish border, drawing long parallel lines away from the town and the coast.
