The Kurca loop
The Kurca winds through the centre in soft bends. Instead of a grid, it gives the street plan a curved spine, and bridges and embankments trace its course.

关于地图
Szentes Map Poster & Print
Szentes lies on the flat, open country of the Great Hungarian Plain in Csongrád, and from above the first thing you notice is water. The Kurca, an old, slow side branch of the Tisza system, curves through the town. Streets fan out from its banks instead of following a strict grid, so the centre looks gently irregular.
Past the centre, the town thins into long rows of houses with deep garden plots, then into fields. That is the classic pattern of the Hungarian plain. Rectangular parcels, straight farm tracks and scattered homesteads fill the land around the town. The Tisza itself runs a short distance to the west, and its embankments and floodplain woods show up as a softer band on the map.
Szentes is known for geothermal water and for large-scale greenhouse farming, and both have shaped its outskirts. A Szentes map poster shows the river curves, the dense core and the orderly farmland around them in clean black lines. On paper the town reads calm and horizontal, much like the landscape it sits in.

Plain-country parcels
Beyond the built-up area, long rectangular fields and straight tracks run to the horizon. This measured geometry is typical of the Great Hungarian Plain.
Tisza floodplain
To the west, the wider Tisza valley shows up as embankments and wooded floodland. On the map it is a quieter, looser band next to the town.

For people from Szentes, the map shows home at the scale they remember it: the river bend, the main streets, the gardens behind the houses. It suits a hallway or study and makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away from the plain.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a meaningful date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 HD download or a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
