关于地图
Takabō Map Poster & Print
Takabō is in Tokushima Prefecture on the island of Shikoku, on the broad flat lowland formed by the Yoshino River as it nears the sea. This is some of the flattest ground in the prefecture, and the map is a fine mesh of lanes, farm plots and small drainage channels.
The Yoshino is one of the major rivers of Shikoku, and its floodplain has been farmed and settled for centuries. Housing here tends to follow older field boundaries and irrigation lines, so the street pattern is irregular yet evenly spread, with no single dominant centre.
A Takabō map poster shows this characteristic Japanese lowland texture: small winding roads, straight channels, clusters of houses and the occasional larger road running toward Tokushima city. It is a detailed, even pattern that reads well at large print sizes.

Channels and field lines
Small irrigation and drainage channels run through the area, and many lanes follow them, creating a fine, irregular grid across the landscape.
Scattered housing
Houses gather in clusters along older roads instead of around one centre, producing an even, detailed texture that suits a large-format print.

为什么选Takabō
一张有意义的地图
For people from this part of Tokushima, the lanes and waterways are the landscape of childhood. A print of them makes a quiet, personal piece for a new apartment in Osaka or Tokyo, or a gift for parents.
Personalise the title in Japanese or Latin script, add a date and the coordinates, and choose one of five styles. The $9 digital files include A3 and A2 along with four other sizes, all at 300 DPI.
