关于地图
Tamalous Map Poster & Print
Tamalous lies in Skikda province in northeastern Algeria, inland from the Mediterranean coast, in the hilly country of the Tell Atlas foothills. On a map the town's streets bend to fit the terrain. The core is compact, and the roads leading out follow ridges and valleys instead of straight lines, so the whole plan has a soft, flowing quality.
The surrounding area is rural, with farmland, olive groves and wooded hills, and the town serves as a local centre for its district. Its shape reflects the land. Nothing is laid out on a rigid grid, and the edges of the built-up area follow contours and field boundaries.
A Tamalous map poster captures a Mediterranean hill town in its simplest form, a small street pattern set in rolling countryside. It suits people from the Skikda region, members of the Algerian diaspora who want a piece of home on the wall, and anyone who appreciates towns shaped by hills.

Winding roads
Roads leave town along valleys and ridges. They draw long, looping lines that link Tamalous to the villages and farmland around it.
Rural setting
Beyond the town the land is open countryside. The poster leaves it as quiet space so the compact shape of the town stands out clearly.
