Contour streets
Residential roads curve around the hillside in loops and spurs, giving the map a flowing, organic pattern quite unlike the grids of newer suburbs.

关于地图
Taman Desa Map Poster & Print
Taman Desa is a residential neighbourhood in the southern part of Kuala Lumpur, close to Old Klang Road. It began as a housing estate and later grew upward. Streets of terrace houses now share the area with condominium towers built on the higher ground, and this mix gives the district a layered, varied texture when seen from above.
On a map the streets bend with the hilly terrain rather than following a strict grid. Short loops and dead ends wind around the slopes, while a few main roads link the neighbourhood to the arterial routes that lead into central Kuala Lumpur. Green patches mark the steeper ground and the land left open between developments.
A Taman Desa map poster captures one neighbourhood at close range, so each loop and junction is easy to follow. It suits people who have lived in one of its apartments or grown up on its streets. The print shows the part of the city they actually knew, rather than the skyline that visitors see.

Old Klang Road
The neighbourhood sits beside one of Kuala Lumpur's older arterial roads, which shows up as a strong line along the edge of the local street network.
Houses and towers
Low terrace rows and large condominium footprints sit side by side, so the building shapes vary noticeably from one block to the next.

为什么选Taman Desa
一张有意义的地图
A map of Taman Desa is for people who think of Kuala Lumpur in terms of their own neighbourhood: a first apartment, a family home, a daily route to work. At this scale the local streets become the whole subject, and they hold the wall with a quiet intricacy.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, a unit or a year. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to match the room and the frame.
