River mouth
The Tandag River widens as it meets the bay, and its final bends frame the older part of town, giving the map a natural edge on one side of the centre.

关于地图
Tandag Map Poster & Print
Tandag sits on the Pacific side of Mindanao, where the Tandag River reaches a shallow bay facing the Philippine Sea. From above, the town reads as a compact grid of streets hugging the river mouth, with the coastline drawing a soft curve along its eastern edge and the land behind rising quickly into green, lightly mapped hills.
As the capital of Surigao del Sur, Tandag gathers the province's offices, schools and market into a small footprint. A coastal highway threads north and south through the town, linking it to the other settlements strung along this shore, while short lanes branch off toward the water and a small airstrip marks a clean straight line near the edge of town.
A Tandag map poster keeps all of this in plain black lines: the river, the bay, the grid and the road that ties them together. Without colour or labels crowding the sheet, the relationship between a provincial town and the open ocean becomes the main subject, which suits a place whose daily life has always faced the sea.

Pacific shoreline
The coast runs as a long, gently curving line open to the Philippine Sea, leaving a wide empty field of water across one side of the poster.
Coastal highway
A single main road follows the shore through town, and most streets hang off it like short branches, a pattern typical of Mindanao's eastern seaboard.

为什么选Tandag
一张有意义的地图
People hang a map of Tandag to remember a hometown, a posting in the provincial capital or a stretch of time on the Surigao coast. The simple outline of river, bay and grid works as a quiet reminder of a place that many visitors know only by name.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to mark a family name or a year. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
